Hands-On Periodontal Surgery Course I: Allogenic Soft Tissue Surgery
Learn an overview of head and neck anatomy pertinent to each respective procedure, biology of wound healing, advanced surgical techniques, and related periodontal plastic procedures that may also be used in conjunction with dental implant therapy. Procedures to be covered include: harvesting of masticatory mucosa, soft tissue grafting with palatal tissue, pedicle & transpositional grafting, techniques for use of acellular dermis around teeth & dental implants, acellular dermis for predictable root coverage, acellular dermis tunnel grafting, and coronally repositioned pedicle graft.
Hands-On Basic Bone Grafting and Periodontal Surgery on Cadavers
Learn an overview of pertinent head and neck anatomy to dentoalveolar surgery, biology of healing, surgical closure, advanced soft tissue surgical techniques for restoring three dimensional soft tissue topography and sculpting gingival tissues to enhance patients' smiles and surgical consent. This course will expose the participant to a wide range of flap designs for biopsies, atraumatic extractions, periodontal surgery, and dental implant therapy. Participants will learn the available suture materials, surgical needles, surgical techniques and how they should be selected for various surgical procedures.
Hands-On Implant Placement Cadaver Course
Learn the fundamental biomechanics of bone and understanding of the rationale for the diagnosis, treatment planning and the clinical practice of placing root form dental implants. Additionally, an overview of informed consent, pre- & post-operative considerations along with elucidating the possible post-operative spread of infection pathways and the management of these situations.
Hands-On Advanced Bone Grafting Course
Learn the art and science of monocortical block grafting, sinus augmentation, regenerative membrane application, hard and soft tissue management including advanced flap manipulation and platelet rich plasma (PRP), and use of the Piezotome Unit. You will experience comprehensive biomechanical and prosthetic principles as they impact the predictability of bone grafting through comprehensive diagnosis and treatment planning skills, along with extensive hands-on experience.
Maximizing Insurance for the Surgical Dental Practice - Coding Course
This interactive one day course will provide an overview of dental and medical insurance. Specific coding sets for common dental surgical procedures will be reviewed. Topics to be covered include procedure code selection, diagnostic information, documentation, claims narratives, claims attachments and claims filing.
Advanced Implant Placement & CT-Guided Surgery
Complex reconstruction using CT-guided surgery, immediate loading, immediate provisionalization, combination surgery involving grafting & implant placement on models and cadavers.
In case of cancellation by registrant, refunds will be made if received in writing NO LATER than four weeks prior to start of course date. A $50 processing fee is charged on refunds. ADE reserves the right to change speakers without notice due to unforeseen circumstances. In the rare event that attendance is insufficient, participants will be notified of cancellation or reschedule one month prior to course date and a full refund will be given. In such circumstance, organizers will not be held liable for any expenses already incurred by any participant. The formal continuing education programs of ADE Seminars, LLC are accepted by AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit.
